Vattenhallen Science Center is owned and operated by Lund University.  We receive about 40 000 visitors per year, and about 13 500 of those visit the planetarium.

By placing the Science Center on campus we are able to employ university students as guides.  This is advantageous both to the university students, who train science communication, and to our younger visitors who can identify with the students and get inspired to seek higher education.
